Frisky post-punks deep tan played an incredible sold out show last night to celebrate the arrival of their fire new Speedy Wunderground single 'tamu's yiffing refuge'. Tapping into the furry fetish world, the angular offering hurtles along as a rumbling bass line locks in with snappy, broken beats. Addictively jarring guitar work tingles with reverb and pokes its way into your consciousness, summoning early 80s Bush Tetras vibes. As always, the vocal melodies are on point, with hooks a-plenty and the dark humoured lyricism we've come to love deep tan for firmly on show. Arriving alongside an equally cheeky video, which sees the band getting up to no good in some brilliant furry costumes, deep tan are on a well-deserved upward trajectory right now and we're rooting for them. -Holly Mullineaux
